Uzbek’s company “Progress Businessindastra” intends to build a factory, which will produce vegetable oil, in the Sugd region.
Such proposal was put forward during a meeting between Rajabboy Ahmadzoda, the chairman of the Sugd region, and Shukhrat Toshev, the head of “Progress Businessindastra” company.
According to the press service of the regional administration, the meeting took place on January 7, 2020 in Khujand town.
“The parties expressed readiness to establish joint ventures and develop bilateral cooperation between Tajik and Uzbek entrepreneurs,” the source said.
It should be noted that “Progress Businessindastra’s activities are aimed at the production of sunflower oil. The company’s products are sold in Uzbekistan and exported to Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan. The company is located in Tashkent.
