In Khujand town, the results of the contest “Making Souvenirs and Gifts for Tourists” were summed up.
The city competition “Making Souvenirs and Gifts for Tourists” was held in accordance with the decision of the mayor of Khujand on May 6, 2019.
According to the city administration, for “the best souvenirs and gifts for tourists” were claimed 20 artisans. Original souvenirs, knives, products of carpet weaving, beadwork and sewing crafts, as well as works of art were exhibited at the exhibition.
“The jury unanimously decided to award the first place to the contest to Mavjuda Khakimova – the head of the atlas and adras production center named after Zulfiya Bahriddinova of Khujand town. The second place was taken by the master of artistic embroidery Matluba Niyozova – the third place have got the artist Kholiq Davlatov,” announced the head of the press service Khujand town Mamur Yusufov to Sundews correspondent.
