Since December 1, 2019, the prices for drinking water and sewage system have been rising in the administrative center of Khugand town, Sugd region.
As the general director of the Khujandvodokanal state unitary enterprise Nosir Gafurzoda noted to a SN correspondent, starting from December 1, 2019, Khujand residents will pay 1.20 somoni for 1 cubic meter of drinking water and 0.80 somoni for 1 cubic meter of sewage. That is, residents of high-rise buildings and private houses that are connected to the sewer system will pay 2 somoni each.
Price increases will also affect budget organizations.
Recall that at present, residents of the city pay 1 somoni for 1 cubic meter of drinking water and 0.60 somoni for 1 cubic meter of sewage.
