According to him, there are 62 basic vocational training institutions in Tajikistan covering 22336 students, 200 of which are students with disabilities and 1180 are orphans and half-orphans. The abovementioned institutions train specialists in 14 areas, including economics, engineering and technology, transport, radioelectronics, energetics, chemical industry, light industry, mining industry, architecture and construction, agriculture, etc.

It should be noted that the textbooks were provided within the framework of the project on “Enhancing Professional Training System and Previously Established Structures in Community-Based Rehabilitation in Tajikistan”, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Caritas Germany in close cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan and Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan.
