In the city of Khujand and the rural jamoat Sarband of Spitamen region, tourist service points began to function.
Two tourist service points were created on the initiative of the police department of the Department of Ecology and Tourism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs together with Tcell and Rakhsh-Taxi. The opening of these points took place on November 6 of this year. This was reported by Akbar Sharifov, the head of the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sughd Region.
According to him, in the city of Khujand, the point is located at the entrance to the Kamola Khujandi recreation and culture park. In the Spitamen district, the site is located near the border post of the rural Sarband jamoat.
“These tourist police service points were created with the aim of assisting foreign and local tourists, ensuring the safety of guests and helping tourists, as well as ensuring the comfort and safety of citizens of other countries during their stay in the Sughd region,” said Akbar Sharifov.
Also, at these points, tourists and guests of the region will be able to purchase SIM cards of the Tcell mobile company. From the company “Rakhsh-Taxi” everyone is provided with a timely taxi service.
