Sugd: More than 16.5 thousand cars were delivered to the region

In 2019 year, 16540 vehicles were imported to Sugd region, which is 4770 vehicles more than the in same period in 2018 year.

According to Bahrom Ismatullozoda, the head of the Regional Customs Administration in the Sugd region, last year the volume of import of products increased.

Due to him, in 2019 year, the amount of imports amounted to 1 billion 571 million US dollars. Compared to 2018, imports increased by $115 million.

“In particular, aviation fuel was imported in the amount of $4.2 million, liquefied gas for $26.6 million, industrial equipment for $16 million, chicken for $2.5 million, wheat for $41.2 million and $7.0 million worth of flour”, said Bahrom Ismatullozoda.

Along with this, Sugd region had trade relations with more than 50 countries of the world. Foreign trade in 2019 with the CIS countries amounted to 1 billion 589 million dollars, which is 48.7 million US dollars more than in 2018.
